There was plenty of ground to make up in Matt’s Weekly Weather Word contest today, with a winner to announce from last week, and a new word this week!
Our winner today, Molly Spalding from Mont Vernon, New Hampshire, not only walks away with an NECN Prize Package, but also gets to enjoy “On the Dot!”, a fantastic game donated by the GameWright company. This weeks Weather Word is “Contemn.” It’s your job to use this word in a weather-related sentence, and remember…the more creative the sentence, the more our panel of judges will love it!

Thus far, none of these students have been able to trump the adult contestants, still on a roll from a summer’s worth of practice. Matt announces the winner of Legal Seafoods Oyster Festival VIP passes, and looks down the line at the new word of the week, with a brand new board game/mind challenge on the line in the new prize package, donated by the folks at Gamewright!
