Matt’s Weekly Weather Word Contest – winner for the week of December 21st and new word for the week of December 28th, 2009

Posted by Matt Noyes December 28, 2009 at 2:10 pm

There was plenty of ground to make up in Matt’s Weekly Weather Word contest today, with a winner to announce from last week, and a new word this week!

The challenge is the same as it always is: to use this weeks word, winnow, in a weather-related sentence, and remember…the more creative the sentence, the more our panel of judges will love it!

So send your entries, along with author’s name, address and phone number (for shipping purposes ONLY) via email to weatherword@necn.com. The judges will review all of the entries at the end of the week, and our winner will be announced Friday morning on NECN at 6:51!
