After an amazing six-year, seven-month run, Matt’s Weekly Weather Word contest came to an end this morning on NECN. The final winner, Ellen Hansen from Taunton, MA, has walked away with a fantastic NECN Prize Pack along with 2 passes to Waterville Valley in NH! A new weekly weather word has been issued, and it’s your job to compose your very own weather-related, creative sentence using the word of the week! Our multi-person panel of judges will review all of the entries and our winner will be announced Friday morning on NECN at 6:51 AM. The challenge is the same as it always is: to use this weeks word, winnow, in a weather-related sentence, and remember…the more creative the sentence, the more our panel of judges will love it!
